To ensure through a Multi-Partner Country J.E.P. that the beneficiary consortium members’ universities are in a position to offer contemporary tourism and hospitality education at postgraduate level (Master and Doctorate) which is targeted towards the changing needs of the political, economic and social environment of the Southern Mediterranean region. The proposed project is aimed at developing postgraduate (Master) tourism and hospitality curricula, teaching methods and learning provisions at the relevant faculties of the beneficiary consortium members into line with the current needs of the region as well as into line with the academic standards and practices employed by universities at European Union countries. It is expected that the new qualified graduates will match the demand of the local labour market of the tourism and hospitality industry, the development of tourism at the partner countries will be assisted and, due to the regional nature of the project, the cooperation, understanding and mutual assistance among the partner countries will be greatly enhanced.
